We are looking for a highly organized scheduling coordinator to coordinate the calendar of for our patients. In this role, you will be patient concierge, checking patients in/out, confirming appointments, following up on missed and cancelled appointments to reschedule patients, collecting payments and patient retention.
- Maintaining and updating schedules
- Verifying the availability of the practice and patients for appointments.
- Confirming appointments.
- Sending out reminders of verified appointments.
- Rescheduling or canceling appointments in a timely manner.
- Answering scheduling inquiries.
- Documenting scheduling processes and keeping records.
- Gather Patient information (reason for visit, insurance information, etc).
- Explain dental procedures, treatment times, and payment options
- Performing other administrative tasks when required.
The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for assisting the hygienist in clinical and administrative duties, including prepare patient for procedure or exam, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials and assist during dental procedures.
- Assist the hygienist with all dental hygiene procedures including but not limited to take directions from doctor, hygienist, performing patient oral evaluations, take, develop and mount accurate and high-quality X-rays, various laboratory duties including provisional
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality according to the HIPAA guidelines
- Adhere to safety guidelines/procedures to OSHA and practice standards
The Sterilization Technician performs sterilization according to OSHA standards, infection control, organization, inventory of supplies and back up seating of patients.
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments using ADA protocols.
- Prepare trays with standard dental equipment to ensure effective patient turnover.
- Observe and maintain all OSHA guidelines and standards.
- Responsible for all dental instruments being cleaned, stored and sterilized using autoclave.
- Operating, monitoring and cleaning of sterilization equipment.
- Perform daily and weekly infection control test to ensure optimum sterility.
- Periodontal charting for hygiene, as needed.
